According to documents seen on the Federal Communications Commission web site, Huawei has a second MyTouch Android smartphone in the processs for T-Mobile USA. The Huawei U8730, also referred to in the documentation as the Ascend G 312 Qwerty, is a follow up to the U8680, which also recently cleared the FCC. Where the U8680 was a monoblock device, the U8730 had a QWERTY keyboard. The device label in the FCC documents refers to the U8730 as the T-Mobile myTouch Q, which strongly recommends that this will be the final name of the device. It also supports the 850/1900MHz and AWS 1700MHz bands, which are the spectrum bands used by T-Mobile USA. Neither T-Mobile nor Huawei has announced this device.
